About Us The members that make up our department are all on a volunteer basis, with one full time member. These volunteers live throughout the community they protect, and when the need arrises, they leave their work, their homes, or their families to provide protection to the people of this community, and surrounding areas. We proudly represent our fire department, and strive to be the best that we can be. Many of our members not only train and respond for firefighting, but also for medical emergencies. We respond to structure fires, brush fires, vehicle fires, and also to vehicle accidents, and emergency medical calls. | Department History This department was started in 1982, out of need for protection for our community from fire, and the need for swift response to other emergencies. Many of the original members have gone on to serve the department, and the community for 20 plus years! | Community Envolvement The fire department holds annual ramp dinners, and BBQ dinners as both a fund raiser, and to allow the community we protect to see what their help, and contributions has allowed us to become. We appreciate all that the community does to assist us and to help make the community better for all! |
